The artist behind DXA Creations

Meet Danilo.

Danilo Alayon, the artist behind DXA Creations, is a self-taught artist born and raised in the Florida Keys. A third-generation island local, he draws inspiration from the reefs, marine life, and coastal landscapes that have surrounded him since childhood.

Working in acrylic, watercolor, and oil, Danilo explores color, movement, and texture to bring his vision to life. From canvas to repurposed dive tanks, each surface offers an opportunity to experiment with layers, create depth, and share his connection to the ocean.

His goal is simple: to create artwork that brings back a meaningful memory, captures a feeling, or invites someone to fall in love with the natural world.

Through DXA Creations, Danilo shares his perspective on the Florida Keys—its beauty, its energy, and the sense of wonder found above and beneath the water.
